This policy sets out the personal data we process when you visit impulsee.ch or write to us, and the rights available to you. It meets the requirements of the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) of 25 September 2020, in force since 1 September 2023.

Visiting the site
When you browse the site, our hosting provider Infomaniak Network SA (Geneva) processes the technical data required to display the pages, in particular your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested and information about your browser. These logs serve to operate the site, protect it against attacks and diagnose faults. They are not used for any other purpose.
Contact form
The contact form uses the Contact Form 7 plugin. The data you enter, namely your name, your email address, your message and any contact details you choose to add, reaches us by email. The Flamingo plugin keeps a copy in the site database, on our own WordPress installation, so that no enquiry is lost if delivery fails. We use this data to handle and answer your enquiry, and for nothing else. If the exchange leads to a mandate, the correspondence is filed with the project records.
Spam protection
Cloudflare Turnstile protects the form against automated submissions and distinguishes visitors from bots, usually without asking you to complete a test. To do so, the tool analyses certain technical characteristics of your browser as well as your IP address. This data is processed by Cloudflare, Inc. and is used solely for that check.
Audience measurement
We measure site traffic using Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC. The tool is loaded only after you have given your consent in the cookie banner. According to Google, Google Analytics 4 does not record visitors’ IP addresses. The reports we consult are aggregated and tell us which pages are read, from which devices and for how long. We do not build individual profiles and we take no automated decisions concerning you.
Consent management
The banner shown on your first visit is managed by the Complianz plugin. Your choice is stored in a cookie so that you are not asked again on every page. You can change or withdraw it at any time by reopening the cookie settings available on the site.
Cookies
Two families of cookies coexist on the site. Technical cookies keep the site working and store your consent choice; they do not require prior agreement. Statistical cookies, linked to Google Analytics 4, are set only with your agreement. Your browser also lets you block or delete cookies, at the cost of some loss of convenience.
Retention periods
We keep data for as long as the purposes described above require. Messages received through the form are deleted once the enquiry has been dealt with, during periodic clean-ups carried out at least once a year. Correspondence relating to a mandate is archived for ten years, in line with Swiss law on the retention of business records. Audience measurement data is erased automatically at the end of the period set in Google Analytics 4, namely fourteen months.
Disclosure to third parties and transfers abroad
Your data is neither sold nor rented. It is disclosed only to the technical service providers named in this policy: our hosting provider, Cloudflare for form protection, and Google for audience measurement. Google LLC and Cloudflare, Inc. may process data in the United States. Since 15 September 2024, the Swiss Federal Council has recognised an adequate level of protection for US companies certified under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which is the case for both of these companies. Beyond that, transfers rely on the standard contractual clauses recognised by the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
Your rights
The FADP grants you several rights over the data that concerns you. You may request access to the data we process about you, have it corrected if it is inaccurate, or obtain its deletion, within the limits of statutory retention obligations. You may withdraw a consent already given and object to a processing operation at any time, and you may ask for the data you have provided to us to be handed over in a common electronic format.
To exercise these rights, write to us by email at engineering@impulsee.ch or by post to impulse Sàrl, Kleinschönberg 10, 1700 Fribourg. We may ask you for proof of identity in case of doubt. As a rule we reply within thirty days. If you consider that the processing of your data breaches the law, you may contact the FDPIC in Bern.
Applicable law and updates
This policy is governed by Swiss law. We update it as the site and the legislation evolve. The version published on this page is the authoritative one. Last updated on 6 August 2026.
