Adding charging stations must not put your building’s electrical supply at risk. At impulse, we design scalable infrastructure to SIA 2060 that can serve a car park where 100 % of vehicles are electric, without costly grid reinforcement, thanks to dynamic load management.

Design & sizing (SIA 2060)

Capacity audit: we analyse the spare capacity at the main distribution board to determine how many charging stations can be added without altering the service connection.
Scalable infrastructure (charging-ready): we design the cable routes (rails and busbar systems) so that every parking space can be equipped later, without major building works.
Standards compliance (NIN and SIA): we size cable cross-sections and protective devices to the Swiss low-voltage installation standard NIN, so that sustained vehicle charging cannot cause overheating.
AC and DC charging stations for electric vehicles

AC/DC selection: AC charging stations (Zaptec, Easee) for long-stay parking, or DC chargers (Alpitronic, Kempower) for rapid charging.
Charging time calculations: precise power sizing, from 11 kW to over 300 kW, so that the range you need is recovered within the time available (for example 100 km in 20 minutes rather than four hours).
Swiss ecosystem and reliability: we specify proven, scalable equipment that meets the requirements of Swiss distribution system operators (DSOs), for long service life and straightforward maintenance.
Dynamic load management

Protecting the building: the system measures the building’s consumption and allocates only the remaining capacity to the vehicles, so the main protection does not trip.
Cost optimisation: smoothing consumption peaks avoids the costly demand charges (kW) billed by the distribution system operator.
Solar priority: the system can be coupled with your photovoltaic system, so that vehicles charge on your own surplus production.
Billing & user management

Open systems (OCPP): we recommend charging stations that work with any billing operator (Swisscharge, eCarUp and others), so you are never locked into a proprietary system.
Individual billing: each user pays for the electricity actually consumed, through an app or an RFID badge. Collection is automatic and creates no administrative work for the property management company.
Self-consumption grouping (ZEV): a dedicated configuration lets you supply the solar electricity from your roof to the vehicles at your internal tariff, improving the return on your photovoltaic system.
Corporate fleets & electrification

Rapid chargers (DC): high-power chargers sized to recover 100 km of range in 15 minutes, which suits high-turnover vehicles and emergency use.

Subsidy applications: we handle cantonal funding applications from end to end, so that your new EV charging infrastructure secures the support available.
